54 ART FOUNDATION

A nonprofit foundation to promote African and African American art. The foundation will also include a library and will operate events—including exhibits, film screenings, lectures, and concerts. Additionally, it will provide grants in support of African arts.  Membership of the 54 Art Foundation will be open to the public for an annual subscription. The foundation welcomes donations. Its founders are Ethan Cohen a leading African art collector and gallerist and Gus Udo, fintech entrepreneur and author. The goal of the foundation is to promote African and African American contemporary art talent. The foundation will produce exhibitions as well as print and digital catalogs. The foundation will also create a depository of information about the artists collected by the fund.
